CLERKSHIPS
The Redenbach Legal Clerkship Program offers a unique and hands-on experience for clerks that provides insight into working as a graduate at the firm. The experience has been carefully moulded and designed to provide broad exposure to a range of work and challenging, to give you a head start in your legal career.
Upon commencement of your Clerkship, you will be paired with a Supervising Solicitor, who will support you throughout your placement. Our clerks will be invited to our induction program that will further familiarise them with our systems, processes and values.
The work offered to clerks will be varied, fulfilling and interesting. Our firm is involved in a number of large scale contracts, ranging from construction matters, to property acquisitions, and even involvement with sporting clubs and members.
Our regular clients include NSW Councils and statutory authorities, as well as large commercial businesses including developers, professional sports clubs and entertainment venues in Sydney.
During your Clerkship at Redenbach Legal you may undertake tasks including:
Undertake meaningful work for real clients
Attend client meetings
Observe court proceedings
Brief barristers
Draft correspondence and court documents
Conduct legal research
The program will include a short-term rotation either working with, or where possible at, the firm’s Broken Hill office, allowing a high-level of client interaction with several of the firm’s major clients whilst also encouraging clerks to reach beyond their comfort zone to truly dive into the commercial law.

The Redenbach Legal Clerkship Program is an excellent opportunity for students to show their full potential to the firm and participants of the program are considered favourably during the recruitment process for our Graduate Program. Recognised performers may have further opportunities to work as paralegal in the lead up to the Graduate Program.

Successful applicants will demonstrate an ability to work autonomously, efficiently and professionally. Applicants should have a keen eye for detail and exceptional communication skills. A strong academic record and extra-curricular experience will be highly valued.
